Registering as a new user

To register as a new user click HERE and use the information here to guide you through
The registration screen like below: -

Click the Register Button, you will be presented with the below: -

Your Username will be the name you log on to the gallery with
Full Name will be what you default album is called, you do no have to put your whole name
A valid mail address is required so we can confirm who you are
Password of you choice
Image verification, type the numbers as they appear

Once all the above are complete click the Register button, we will then be informed by email that a new users has registered for the site, until we authorise the new registration you will no be able to log on.

First Time Login and Album Creation

When you log in you will have a default Gallery with the name you used at login, down the left there are a number of options like below: -

And in the centre of the screen you will see the following: -

We are going to create your first album now by clicking Add Album from the top left hand side options, if you were to just click add a photo at this point they will not be added to any albums, this is ok if you do not want to create albums, creating albums makes things neater and easier to manage

Once you have clicked Add Album you will be presented with: -

The name of this album will be /your username/your album name
All you need to worry about is the name that appears in the box
Only use alphanumeric characters, underscores or dashes.

Title, enter a title for the Album
A brief summary about the Album
Some keywords about you album, this makes it easier for users to search your albums
Description is where you can write a long description

Once you are happy with your Album click create and you will be taken to: -

With the following options on the left had side: -

Click Back to Album to be taken to your main page which should look like the following, if not then log out and back in again

Adding Images to your Album

If you was to just click Add Items now they would not be added to you Album, they would sit outside your Albums, so to add picture to your Albums you need to edit you Album by selecting Edit Album from the drop down box like below: -

Now from the options on the left had side we you can start adding pictures to you Album by clicking Add Items

Adding Pictures to your Album

Once you have clicked Add Items you will be presented with: -

Click the browse button to search for the image you want to upload, then add a Small Description about the picture and then click Add Item

You can now add more pictures or click back to Album, you will see the first picture you added will be show on the front of your Album like below: -
