Clifton F.C. Under 9's White
WIN Long Eaton Tournament
Just wanted to a massive well done to the all whites under 9's who won the Long Eaton Tournament at the weekend against some of the top sides from Derbyshire.
The under 9's went through the entire day without losing a game and played some fantastic passing football which was commented on by the neutrals watching our games.
What was even more impressive was that we turned up to the tournament with a bare 7 players with no subs and the really hot weather just goes to show the levels of fitness that these lads have and they were a credit to themselves and the club.
The effort,commitment,desire to win made me really proud of the players and i thought they got what they deserved. The tournament was very well run and a big thanks for long eaton organizers for inviting us to enter.
we hope to return next year to defend out title. WELL DONE BOYS!
