The Aquinas Foundation and Clifton FC have set a date for their Charity dinner and Auction which is 20th of April at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham.
Stuart Pearce has confirmed that he will be there to give an after dinner talk along with a table of 10 other legends who will be attending. We are waiting for confirmation from ex-players such as Des Walker, John Robertson, Steve Chettle and Gary Birtles and we will update the players as we get them.

The Aquinas Foundation is a newly launched charity focusing primarily on tackling the problem of truancy in Nottinghamshire. Nottingham City currently has the highest rate of truancy in the country; a statistic that we felt needed to be changed. With the support of local recruitment agency, Aquinas Education and Premiership football star Jermaine Jenas, the foundation was set up with the aim to support schools in various projects including improving attendance, behaviour and the children’s attitudes towards education. Being born and bred in Nottingham, Jermaine wanted to give something back to Nottingham and felt that in establishing the Aquinas Foundation, he could tackle issues that mean something to both the community and himself.
With this in mind, Craig Anderson, Managing Director of Aquinas Foundation and Jermaine both felt that one of the areas within the city that they wanted to help was their hometown of Clifton. With Craig, Jermaine and several of the Aquinas Foundation staff involved with local football team Clifton FC, it seemed the perfect place to start.
The Aquinas Foundation will be holding a charity dinner in April to launch the foundation and to also raise funds for Clifton FC’s floodlight fund and wondered if…… would be interested in sponsoring the event, donating prizes for the auction or even attending the event by purchasing tickets?
Tickets are priced at £35 per person which includes the dinner and will be on sale very soon.
